Especially, Haunted Trails in Burbank, IL. I didn't discover this place until I was about 28, but I made up for it in the remaining years to come.
First, it has one of my most favorite things ever, an 18 hole MINI-GOLF course - a HAUNTED mini-golf course no less. The course contains 4 miniaturized haunted houses with special sound effects and lighting. I'm pretty sure this is the place where I whacked my ball so hard, it hit the witch at the top of one of the houses and ended up bouncing into a hole in one.

Additionally, it has 3 go-kart tracks, its own haunted house (although on the lame side, it does have a fun house area in it - which I think is kinda great), AND it has an arcade, not just a piddly hole in the wall arcade...Haunted Trails is the site of games development for around the world. The owner is said to be a "Games Guru." Two buildings house approximately 200 of the industry's newest games, including old games and SKEE BALL. My friend Matthew and I have been known to blow all our hard earned cash in these two buildings, we like to call it, "Vegas for Kids." I think he still has the blow up seahorse worth 150 hard earned tickets hanging somewhere in his San Francisco pad.
Did I mention there are also RIDES? AND laser tag???

Really, you must go if you are ever in the Chicagoland area. During October, Son of Svenghoulie makes frequent appearances and signs autographs. It just gets better, doesn't it?
